Philipp (from Munich who came to Chicago for a day last Feburary who was also an exchange student in Monterrey) and his girlfriend Giovana (a Mexican girl he met while in Mexico) were visiting Torben as well. It was a lot of fun to see them and I think my head spun most of the time because all three of them speak German so their conversations would switch from German to Spanish back to German then to Spanish and I had no idea what to say or exactly what they were talking about.
I made nachos again (with lots of help!).

It was also a very busy time for Torben because he had his two final oral exams that week and he passed them with flying colors. He got 15/15 on both and ended with the highest marks you can get, making him the best student in his class. We celebrated with cake after his last exam.
The day I left to go back to Hagen with Kathi, was the same day Torben and his best friends left to go to a 3 day music festival. An event where they camp, go to concerts, eat cold, canned food, sleep little, and drink a lot of beer; all the while having a completely awesome time.
Another few days with Kathi and her family was a lot of fun. We went out to a festival and to a club in her city. We went to a ruins site and hung out with one of her friends who was an exchange student in Brazil the same year we were in Mexico.
